Privacy Policy · Effective July 15, 2026

We collect almost nothing, and we tell you exactly what.

This practice runs on discretion. The policy below is short because the data practices are simple: no trackers, no sold lists, and nothing collected beyond what you choose to send.

01

What we collect

What you send us. If you submit the inquiry form, we receive what you type: your name, email, optional phone and property address, the reason you selected, and your message. Nothing on this site requires an account, and browsing it requires nothing from you.

How you arrived. If you reach the site from a tagged link or a mailed card, your browser stores a small session marker (the campaign name — for example, mailer / east-mb-01) so that, if you later submit the form, we know which channel reached you. It lives in your browser's session storage, is never a tracking cookie, expires when you close the tab, and identifies a campaign — not you.

What we deliberately do not run: advertising trackers, third-party analytics, social-media pixels, or fingerprinting of any kind. Our host (Cloudflare) keeps standard, short-lived server logs to operate and protect the service. Because the site does not track visitors across other websites or over time, it does not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals — there is no tracking to turn off.

02

How it is used and stored

Inquiries are used for exactly one purpose: so Jonathan can respond to you. They are stored in a private database on Cloudflare's infrastructure, and a copy of the notification is delivered to Jonathan's phone. If you asked to join the radar release list, your email is used for those releases — each one tells you how to stop them, and one reply is enough.

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with anyone. It is not given to advertisers, list brokers, or other agents. It leaves our hands only if the law requires it.

03

Public records and the Radar

The Redevelopment Radar publishes analysis of public property records — county assessor, county recorder, and city permit data — at the block level, with rounded attributes and no owner names. It does not use or publish personal information about site visitors. How it works, and how to request a correction or removal, is documented on the methodology page.

04

Your choices

Ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — any of these, at any time, by writing to jonathan@jonathansmith.realtor or calling (424) 677-6975. We respond within one business day and honor deletion requests promptly, keeping only what the law or brokerage record-keeping rules require us to retain.

California residents: the rights above are how we honor requests to know, correct, and delete under California law. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in the CCPA, so there is nothing to opt out of.
